    Mir ist klar dass in einigen wenigen Staaten die Auszählung noch nicht vollständig abgeschlossen ist, möglicherweise wegen des Umstandes "too close to call", aber der popular vote margin forecaster der nytimes bewegt sich noch verdächtig stark und häufig.

    Alle paar Sekunden liest man einen anderen Wert.... 1.2.... 1.3....1.2....1.1....1.2..... usw.

    Soll das den Usern suggerieren, dass ständig alles in Bewegung ist und ständig aktuallisiert wird?

    Auf mich wirkt das aber einfach nur unseriös.

    Ja, das hat mich schon während der Wahlnacht etwas gewundert, weil es wirklich sekündlich zuckte, aber jetzt ist es natürlich noch befremdlicher.

    Da stimme ich zu.

    Ich muss diese Seite aber loben: Die Live-Vorhersagen für die Präsidentschaft und für die Gewinner in den einzelnen Staaten waren sehr gut. Beispielsweise lag Clinton in Pennsylvania lange von den Stimmen her vorne, aber bei der Prognose war es umgekehrt. Letztlich hat Trump den Staat auch gewonnen. Vermutlich hat man relevante Vorinformationen passend in das Prognosemodell eingebaut. 538 machte in der Nacht einen schlechteren Eindruck.
