Wie sicher seid ihr denn, dass all die Klagen ins Leere laufen? Bei den Wettquoten steht B immer noch erst bei 85-90 %. Dafür, dass ihm die demokratische westliche Welt bereits umwerfend gratuliert hat, ist das recht weit weg von 100 %.

Unwahrscheinlich. Hinter verschlossenen Türen wissen alle hochrangigen RepublikanerInnen doch, wer die Wahl gewonnen hat; viele mögen es nicht sagen, weil das zu einer Revolte der Basis (und womöglich dem Verlust von Senatssitzen) führen könnte. Ich frag mich, ob sie dieses Lügengespinst bis Anfang Januar weben wollen. Der konservative Washington Examiner:

kann ich aber nicht so recht nachvollziehen. Wie ist denn die Rechtslage, war die Trennung rechtens? Falls nein, dann mögen sich doch die Eltern irgendwo melden und zu den Kindern geführt werden. Oder wo sind die Kinder? Eine Mutter wird ihr Kind ja wohl erkennen.

du kannst doch nicht ernsthaft erwarten, dass die amis deswegen das deutsche rote kreuz engagieren (ob deren guter erfahrungen mit famlienzusammenführungen nach dem 2. weltkrieg) wo bleibt denn da das diabolische?

Sollte das als ernsthaftes Interesse gemeint sein und nicht als arschlochmäßiger Hohn und Freude über das Leid anderer Menschen (was ich in diesem Fall annehme), kann man hier etwas über die Gründe nachlesen:

And, again, just to be grounded in the reality here, we're dealing with separations that started over three years ago now. So information that was recorded in some government system may not be accurate anymore. We have to remember that most of these families are fleeing harm and extreme conditions in their communities. So there are various safety concerns, and so many of them simply might not have returned to where they were coming from.
INSKEEP: What do we make of the additional disclosure that the government is unable to locate about 360 of the children?
SCHIVONE: That is troubling. Ja, schon erstaunlich, welche Unmenschlichkeit auch hier im Forum für ganz normal gehalten wird. Muss nur gegen bestimmte Zielgruppen gerichtet sein.

Nun ja, ich sage doch mal so: Hier im Forum wird es als völlig natürlich angesehen, ungeborene Kinder zu töten, gerne auch bis kurz vor der Geburt, weil die Mutter keine Lust mehr auf das Kind hat. Im Vergleich dazu finde ich es human, einem mexikanischen Erwachsenen ohne physische Gewalt zu demonstrieren, dass illegale Grenzübertritte auch negative Folgen haben können.

Und jetzt bitte noch ein Beleg zu hunderten durchgeführten Abtreibungen an 8 Monate alten Föten, wenn du schon solche Vergleiche unbedingt ziehen willst. Und nicht einfach die Kindwegnahme als eines zivilisierten Landes als unwürdig und inhuman verurteilen kannst.
